Rachel Brosnahan is an American actress and star of the Amazon show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
She portrays the eponymous character of Midge Maisel, a woman in her late 20s who following a separation from her husband, stumbles onto a career in stand-up comedy.
Background
Rachel Brosnahan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 15, 1990. She later attended New York University and joined the Netflix hit political drama, House Of Cards in a recurring capacity as Rachel Posner.
She is married to fellow actor Jason Ralph, who plays booker Mike Carr on the show.
